Reviews for New Construction

"My wife, Janie, and I recently completed a “self-build” home, meaning that we served as the general contractor and did many parts of the build ourselves to cut costs. We started, though, by contacting a reputable excavator, and Matt, Kaylee and many others at Kalamazoo Excavating delivered for us in a big way. Since we are new to this area, I asked Matt for recommendations in areas like HVAC that I knew I wasn’t capable of handling myself. He gave a a legit list of contacts he has made over the years and then his guys, starting with Hunter and Brad proceeded to install a driveway that today feels like it’s always been there. And it’s gravel. They took the time to do it right and make sure it was the way we wanted it, and also that it was rock solid and we wouldn’t need to worry about it any time soon. Despite a hectic season for them, they brought their parts of the project together very well, highlighted by tremendous communication through Kaylee and Matt, and today we live in what was just a woods and a vision. If you’re looking for a dependable team to do your dirtwork, stop looking and work out the details with Kalamazoo Excavation because they won’t let you down!"
