Kalamazoo Excavation was honored to lead the demolition of the historic Copper Grille building in Paw Paw, Michigan, the beloved local spot on M-40. As both a hometown project and a tribute to the community, we approached this demo with the utmost respect and care. We made sure every part of the building was recycled or repurposed—concrete, brick, and blocks were hauled to our facility to be crushed and reused for future driveway projects, while all metal materials were remelted for new construction uses. By prioritizing sustainability and community sentiment, we ensured that even the demolition of an iconic local landmark had a positive impact.
